To be quite honest, I really don't know what Sony was thinking when it decided to drop the 60GB PS3 and put the new 80GB PS3 for sale in the US for $599. Who do they actually think their fooling. You would have thought that Sony would have learned its lesson with the launch of the Wii around the holidays. power isn't everything, I'm just meaning to say that the lack of 20GB isn't the reason I didn't buy a PS3 the first time around. Oh!!!! wait, wait wait, I left out some very significant information concerning the 80GB PS3, with each purchase It also comes with Motorstorm(Halleluiah!!!!), Whew!!!! that was a close one, if it wasn't for motorstorm I don't think I would have ever purchased the 80GB(Sarcasm).Another thing that I find to be funny is the amount of faith Sony put in devil may cry 4 and metal gear solid 4. Had either one of these games ever sold as much as halo 3 in any country? Quite honestly, I doubt that neither Dante nor snake can bring the ps3 back hole that it has dug for its self. quite honestly.
Quite honestly , that was really hard to follow with all of that sarcasm. I was wondering if you could break it down into one simple point that even I might understand. quite honestly.
QUITE HONESTLY!?, HONESTLY!!!!??111shift1pancakes!!!thanks for the info captain obvious
PS3 is officially out of it's hole IMO.It's 2008 game line up will help it become a serious contendor for my play time as well.
quite honestly i knew the ps3 was going to be behind in sales due to its price..but i dont think its in the hole..it just has a flat bike tire that it decided to continue riding on..
Quite honestly nobody really cares, blog it.
Quite honestly I'd have to agree with the above posters
Based on the way you wrote your post, you think bigger HDD = more power...I hope you don't think that...
The PS3 is a piece of crap, not because of hardware, but because of its crappy library. Only about 1/4 of its exclusives are worth buying for $60, meaning that this system is far from being worth $400, much less $600 at launch. And personally, I could care less about the blu-ray player, I want a great gaming console not a movie player! This system can bight me until it gets a reasonable amount of good exclusives to justify a $400 pricetag.
The text is too obnoxious to read.

So Uncharted, Resistance, and R%26C don't count as good exclusives? I mean if you want to play it this way then I can just go ahead and say almost every 360 AAA is also a PC game, thus making it multiplat.

I think that PS3 has some good titles coming out, but as is, the PS3 is a piece. I refuse to respect this system until its price justifies its lack of decent exclusives, or hopefully, its high price is justified by stellar exclusives.

I, on the other hand am not afraid of the progression of technology and embrace it with open arms. DVD can only last so long. As for your weak arguement stating that ''1/4 of it's exclusives are worth buying'' is pure opinion, and if you look at my sig, SW IS FOR FACTS!!!!!!

There are about 7 games I think with 8 rating or over, with most these games being within the 8.0/8.5 range. This system is trash no matter how much you hype a game with a 7.0 score. It is also pretty sad when a GAMING systems biggest selling point is its built in MOVIE player.
