Wii MoH Heroes 2 Online Axed in Australi ...

Australia, February 6, 2008 - Back when the US reviewed EA's Medal of Honour Heroes 2, we were thrilled to learn that the 32-player online multiplayer - virtually unheard of on Wii - worked like a charm. It was a major reason for gamers to get excited - and now apparently the entire mode has been scrapped from the game.

According to early reports from gamers who secured their copy today, the Australian version of the game has been modified, removing all online and multiplayer options from the game itself, while also removing all references to the online component from the boxart. LINK As an Australian, who's waited 3 months for this darn game to be released, I am so very happy with EA's great choice of removing all online components from MoH 2! US Release date, Nov 13th 2007 : Australia's Release date, 7th Feb 2007What do Aussie's get? No 32 player online! *celebrates by burning down my Nintendo Wifi USB connector, which is obviously not needed for Wii games...right guys?*Wii MoH Heroes 2 Online Axed in Australi ...
Have they explained why, or is this just another random act of cruelty by EA?Wii MoH Heroes 2 Online Axed in Australi ...
Have they explained why, or is this just another random act of cruelty by EA?
No explanation...but I'm esimating it to be a horrible act of cruelty by EA. Due to the fact that you don't randomly remove online content from games, edit manuals, edit boxart etc.
I sure won't get any EA games or any stripped games. There is no chance i will be touching this game now.
What... the.. heck?! :

We Australians get boned again.Still i'd rather the PAL version of NMH have blood and gore in it........
Not only do we get boned again, but even the game MANUAL makes mention to ONLINE play on Page 12!

If your water goes down the drain backwards from the rest of the world, imagine how your internet goes through the wires. EA just didnt allocate the resources to allay the reverse nature of the Aussie continent

If this is true this really makes the thread about 'PS3 saving the industry by supporting EA' shine.
