Are the slime models green? PS2 vs PSP, which is more powerful?
I am talking about the PSP Slime and PS2 Slime. Which is has or will have better graphics and performance for games?
the PS2 is slightly more powerfull, the graphics have fewer jaggies, also because the media on the PSP is bigger (DVD has 4.6 gigs while the UMD has 1.8 Gigs) you can expect more FMV磗 and in game audio on the PS2
in terms of specs the psp is more powerfull...only reason they cant use the psp to full power is the battery would be killed fast
in terms of specs the psp is more powerfull...only reason they cant use the psp to full power is the battery would be killed fast
What? No.Why would they bother cramming in more powerful (expensive) hardware if they wouldn't be able to use it. That makes zero sense. The PS2 is CLEARLY the more powerful of the two.
That's the same as asking ''Which is more powerful, PCs or Laptops?''
PSP is on par with the Dreamcast- which is a bit less powerful than PS2

It technically has an approx 333mhz processor, basically the ''emotion engine'' in smaller form. They both share the same amount of system and video ram. Tech specs of the PSP. The reason why Sony chose to underclock the PSP rather than choose inferior components is because the PSP is basically a PS2 in portable form, it's the same technology and has the same economies of scale. It's cheaper to mass produce in-house Sony technology which already shares massive economies of scale. The PSP slim also possesses more system RAM 64MB compared to the 32MB on the PS2, but because it's a new model it can never be fully utilisedThe reason why games tend to look worse on the PSP than their PS2 counterparts is because of battery life. The PSP even when the processor was capped at 233mhz had poor battery life, now imagine if they had left the developers to use all the systems power, you'd be looking at some games with a sub-1hour battery life.
mmm i got me a slime ps2, it has slime like a snail! yay! sony makes slimey products! lol, u mean slim.

ps2 is more powerul. graphics wise they look pretty similar but you can tell when you are runnign around a level and notice how crappy the detail is on psp.. but some games like syphon filter look great.
