Since I trust more gamespy, I think it's a bad new for xbox360 fan, the game is a flop.

Wow Mistwalker not living up to the hype, how unsurprising. With Sakaguchi at the helm they can do no wrong... lol. I said it then, and I'll say it again, it takes a team of people to make a great game, not one guy.

Story and character is just as or maybe even more important than gameplay in an RPG in my opinion.

And even still, random battles...seriously get with the times.

So because a few reviewers didn't like it the fanboys automatically assume it's a bad game that can't compare to the FF series? The only reason that series holds so well is it's name, tons of people are disatisfied with where it's going... I love the FF series as well when I had a PSX and SNES back in the day so don't hold me on that I mean honeslty.. jumping to conclusions based on the opinions of people you've never met that probably don't even like these kind of games..
When a TPS has hideous technical issues it gets an AAA ranking, but when a JRPG has some minor loading issues suddenly its the worst thing since sliced bread. HYPOCRACY.

Why would you want to be a Final Fantasy killer? Then you'd be the most generic JRPG in the industry.
