worst port ?

fear ps3 version inferrior worst port ?
RE4 on the PC, such a shame :cry:Saying that though i think there are patches and mods now that make it better.worst port ?
alien hominid lost a lot from flash game on newgrounds to console game (at least in challenge, which is what made it a great game)
Crysis
crysis is most likely gonna be soon or far cry
Most Arcade ports during the 8/16-bit eras.
alien hominid lost a lot from flash game on newgrounds to console game (at least in challenge, which is what made it a great game)
game was still hard as hell when it was ported
Splinter Cell for PS2...it was solid, but it just wasn't the same game.GUN : Xbox 360. It was the exact same game on PS2/Xbox.Metal Gear Solid 2 : Substance on Xbox. The PS2 version of Subtance or even MGS2 Sons of Liberty was a much better experience.Need for Speed Hot Pursuit : Gamecube and Xbox. They were proted from PS2, and it was tragic(Of course, they were new hardware at the time). Guitar Hero III for Wii. Mono sound and Poor online FTL.FFI and FFII for PSP. Not much different.
Most Arcade ports during the 8/16-bit eras.
Hands down. Well said. the arcades ports were shocking
Worst I've seen has GOT to be Farcry:Instincts. That was a shocker. The most dissapointing port? RainbowSix: Vegas. The game still kicked ass but it was just so bland tacular. The colours were TOTALLY bland compared to the console version. I still haven't figured that part out. Its like playing in SD. Really, really weird.
outrun on the spectrum 48k

Devil May Cry 3 on PC. It's unplayable.

Most Arcade ports during the 8/16-bit eras.
Hands down. Well said. the arcades ports were shocking
There was SOME shocking ports but not all arcade games sucked on consoles. Hell I still play my precious JP (of course) Final Fight CD over any arcade perfect version simply because it was so close to 100% perfect minus some colour and background animation in 2 or 3 scenes and the CD music is so awesome the arcade version just does not compare. I still say Strider Hiryu on the MD is one of the greatest conversions of all time too. Not to mention the PC Engine Arcade CD Neo Geo titles. I will NEVER know how the hell NEC Avenue screwed up with Strider Hiryu Aracde CD so badly.Of course for every Strider Hiryu and Final Fight CD there was Sengoku Densho (M-CD version is very good), Final Fight, King of Dragons, Undercover Cops and Super R-TYPE on the SFC. I also can't mention bad arcade ports without mentioning the TRAGIC US made Punisher on the MD. WTF WERE THEY THINKING!!!

I was stricly speaking for the cartridge version of arcade games which had less quality insounds and visuals. Mortal Kombat at home was nothing like at the arcades
splinter cell double agent on ps3....looked like crap! lost planet on ps3 again is looking very ps2ish to me
From this gen Madden springs to mind.
Outrun on the Atari ST.

The system never made the 16-bit cut, no matter how many cards they put out.
ANY arcade game ported to the NES/SNES. Revolution X comes to mind in particular...
i was going to say lost planet on the ps3..seriously..what the hell is capcom trying to pull?
