It looks a heck of a lot better than DVDs adn its the next gen Format for Movies? What is so great about blu-ray?.

I think blu ray is just a waste for multiplats, but even with exclusives it doesn't really make the game any better in terms of gameplay experience. But it is excellent with movies as with HD-DVD but too bad there wasn't enough studio support for it.
It looks tons better than a DVD and has more storage space than my PC's harddrive.
it's good for data storage but that's about it. buying blu-ray movies is a waste.

Who cares if BS3 has blu ray, i'm not gonna be watching movies on a game system am I? no that's why we have dvd players....

They have more space, have a protective coating, and movies look a hell of a lot better than DVD.

Although there are some that are worthy of purchase.
storage...that's about it. movie wise i still perfer HD DVD. but blu-ray movies look a ton better than standard dvd

Storage is the only thing ''great'' about blu ray. But here's the catch, I highly doubt devs working with multiplats will put in more time, effort, and money on the same game, just to fill up that extra space. Not only blu ray has no kind of advantage with multiplats, people without HDTVs don't even care about blu ray high def.
