Number of Mature games going down...Take ...

ESRB ratings breakdown - amount of Mature games down by 50% since 2005I really would not have expect that. It makes you wonder how people like Jack Thompson complains so much about it when the number of Mature games are going down.It also makes you wonder about all the gamers who have said the 360 is better than the Wii because it got more Mature games. I don't think this really applies to Jack Thompson's rants and raves, but even if it did...that man is not impeded by a petty thing like logistics. Or facts, for that matter.

It would not change the 50% drop in the number of mature games made.

It would not change the 50% drop in the number of mature games made.[/QUOTE] But if you have say 100 games coming out in 2005 of which 12 were mature that would be 12%Now in 2007 you have 200 games coming out of which 12 are still mature it would be 6%.I think what your are seeing is more games coming out rather than a big drop in the number of actual titles.EDIT I didn't read the report but the article you linked was a comparison of % between 2005 and 2007

X_X why cant there be adult thriller games n so forth... adult market will always be niche if its not even attempted at.
