Micro$oft said ''3 year warranty on red ring'', Is that from launch day or 3 years from your purchased, because from what I understand, its 3 years from launch day. Also, if you buy a used system do you still get the 3 year warranty?Question about the 360 3 red light warra ...
3 years from when you buy the console probably....dont know about the second questionQuestion about the 360 3 red light warra ...
I think it is three years from purchase, and that you need the original receipt to prove that you are within the three years from the original purchase when new.I also bought a used one, just off of my brother, and he hadn't kept his receipt, arg. Hoping for no problems.
When mine broke they never even askewd for my receipt
Joke right?
Warranty is always active from when you purchase the item, rather then when it was first released.

Wii better have a price drop b4 Mario Ka ...
The only game I know I will have fun with and will never bore me. ALso with its online play I will wait for you losers across the finish line. Nobody can touch the master. And with bikes in the game and rumor to do tricks I will be taunting you all game.Is there even a Rumor of a price drop. I still find the wii over priced and can not find in myself to buy the wii at $250. I want it at $150 without wii sports.Wii better have a price drop b4 Mario Ka ...
I use to say that too ( 150.00 ) but after 15 months and I have yet to walk into a store with Wii's on the shelf for 250.00 - I wouldn't look for a price drop anytime soon.Wii better have a price drop b4 Mario Ka ...
Why would Nintendo drop the price a) right before arguably their biggest release of 08 and b) when the Wii is still borderline sold out anyway?
Why would Nintendo drop the price a) right before arguably their biggest release of 08 and b) when the Wii is still borderline sold out anyway?
Because if they think the demand is crazy now wait until they have a price drop. I am not buying the system until it is under $200.
I dont think they can justify a price drop until console sales cool down, which has not happened since launch. I do think that they should start dropping the price of their accessories and controllers. It must be a simple thing to make them, a lot simpler than a console anyway
The Wii will not be having a price drop any time soon and there is no rumor of a price drop. The thing sells out. You don't lower the price on something that sells out, its not good business. Don't expect a price drop until they stop selling out.

New GTA IV Preview in Computerbild-Spiel ...
The latest issue of German magazine Computerbild-Spiele contains a new five-page preview of GTA 4, eleven new gameplay screenshots, and one new piece of artwork. Thanks to Freezer89 for the info! We will try to obtain a translation/summary as soon as possible. Update from Andy:
New information from the article (thanks, GTAlien for translations and Freezer89 for scans + translations!):
= the greatest game ever created!!*head explodes*New GTA IV Preview in Computerbild-Spiel ...
Sweet! Keep the info. coming.
I'm waiting for the inevitable Game Informer exclusive magazine article. They usually get the full monty on the game first.
GTA IV will be the main course and the exclusive episodic content are seconds and thirds and so on. I can not wait for the gluttony from this game.
Sweet!!
Good stuff Danish, but GTA4.net beat you to the punch. ;)
Good stuff. I'm going to have to take April 29th off so I can stay home and play GTA IV all day.
the game to define what the 360 and the ps3 can do
gta4 will be the game from teh gods.. do we have any informations about weapons? like how many and if they can be customized?g
New information from the article (thanks, GTAlien for translations and Freezer89 for scans + translations!):
- Pedestrian reactions are more true-to-life than in previous games.
- The WASTED! system is still intact. If you die, you end up at the nearest hospital (minus your weapons) the next morning.
- One button press will get you into a car. A second button press is required to start up the car's engine.
- Niko wears a helmet while riding motorcycles.
- Surroundings are more interactive (bullet holes from gunfire, environment reacting to explosions, etc).
- You can find ''useful things'' in cars that you hijack.
- The game is set in 2008.

Duke Nukem Forever coming this year, 3D ...

looks like 3D will feature online play
sorry if old, i didnt see any topicsDuke Nukem Forever coming this year, 3D ...
Duke Nukem 3D on XBLA would be great, and it's something I've been hoping for since the Xbox 1 days. Heck, I even got a homebrew port of DN3D to run on my old xbox, but it was annoying because there wasn't any way to invert the aiming. Hopefully they follow up this with releasing Shadow Warrior on there also. I remember playing LAN games of DN3D at the local college library back in the day... so much fun. Duke Nukem Forever coming this year, 3D ...
I can only hope that both of these are true.

Here's hoping 3D will be coming to Wiiware.
have the playstation 3 and xbox 360 rea ...
im thinking uncharted for the ps3 and mass effect for the 360 at the moment are the best looking console games, would you agree?this is only opinion so dont flame me to death..uncharted and mass effect were both made by highly talented developers, they both tried to push the graphical power of both consoles as far as possibleone thing i noticed about both games is that there is pop up textures. its pushing the processing power, loading the textures of every individual tiny piece of scenery, sound, physics and alsorts is happening and has to be processedone example, gears of war is beautiful but occasional pop up textures and occasional frame rate issues, heavenly sword, the detail in the faces are excellent, but the hair looks stuck on.games are being delayed time after time, there are problems developing games, making textures crisp, making frame rates good, high def. so on.alan wake has been delayed time after time, so too has gran tourismo 5, both hugely impressive in the graphical department.making games for the pc must be easier, as they can keep upgrading to make the games look and run better, using the latest processors and graphics cards, and increasing virtual memory as they please.
this is only my opinion, i think graphics may get a tiny bit better but nothing huge. i expect the playstation 3 to maybe push the graphics a tiny bit futher than the 360 but yet nothing major.your thoughts?have the playstation 3 and xbox 360 rea ...
Didn't the developers of uncharted say something like it didnt even come close to using up all the ps3s power?have the playstation 3 and xbox 360 rea ...
Uncharted was just scratching the surface of what the PS3 is capable of. You won't see the PS3's true power until God of War III is released. The 360 may also seem like it's been maxed out, but history has proven that the best looking games don't come until at least 2-3 years into the consoles life.
im not going to disagree with you but what games to come out this year on the ps3 look better than uncharted? what games looks better than mass effect or gears on the 360. alan wake maybe but nothing major

i actually think that uncharted is a very good looking game and a great game overall ( i loved it and would say its my favorite ps3 game) but im not sure if its really that great looking. something about it just is a little off. im sure not many people will agree but i think assassins creed is absolutely gorgeous. playing it on a 42'' 1080p lcd in 1080p is awesome. mass effect loses alot of points for framerate and pop in problems. CoD4 is definitely up there, but i still think that Gears is probably still the best looking game. hopefully ninja gaiden 2 blows us all away. i think re5 will too.
The Playstation 3 will hit it's graphical peak around the time the next Xbox rolls around.
No systems are maxed out. Developers will always find ways to squeeze more out of systems.
Both haven't.
I think both haven't peaked yet. I do think the 360 is much nearer its peak than the PS3 though. The reason for this is the system architecture. The 360 has an architecture closely resembling pc architecture. That means programmers are used to working with it and will already know how to optimise performance. The PS3 architecture is completely different. People shouldn't underestimate how different programming for the PS3 is from doing so for the Pc or 360. Programmers have to completely forget everything they ever learned about how to program and adopt a complete new way of thinking. I personally feel that they only ar starting to get the hang of this. Killzone 2 in fact is more than a game. It got its very large budget in order to make the programmers explore how programming for the cell type architecture is done. Expect Sony to have obtained much more knowledge in this field after the completion of the KZ2 project. This knowledge, which of course will be readily shared with other devs working on PS3 projects, will result in a significant improvement in support for devs and thus of games. Another important aspect is the fact that insiders generally see the cell type architecture as the future of pc's as well. Already the first server pc's using this technology have hit the market. They are quite expensive though. When this technology will be incorporated in pc's more, we'll see programmers start to get a more natural feeling for programmnig for this type of architecture. This will also have its influence on the quality of projects for PS3.
X360 probably hasn't topped out, but it's definetly hit a road block because nothing looks better than Gears. PS3 still has room left games keep getting better and better on the system.
yes both of them.
this is only my opinion, i think graphics may get a tiny bit better but nothing huge. i expect the playstation 3 to maybe push the graphics a tiny bit futher than the 360 but yet nothing major.your thoughts?have the playstation 3 and xbox 360 rea ...

MS should buy SONY instead of YAHOO :o ! ...
:o :oAn article by Esquire looks at the option of Microsoft taking over Sony to help sort out each others console woes. They say that if MS wants to firm up its videogame operation it could do with Sony's foot in the Japanese market and Sony's expertise in reliable hardware. Also Sony could so with the benefits of Microsoft's interfaces and they could split the cost on a next-gen system. Its a crazy but interesting idea.''A few compelling reasons to do so:
1. Microsoft's Xbox 360 has the most atrocious hardware in consumer electronics history. It's so bad, the company had to extend 360 warranties to three years, spending a billion dollars in the process, just to fix systems that keep breaking on a whim. I've had four systems break in only three years. They're becoming known as a lemon-maker with great games. Meanwhile, Sony makes great hardware but...
2. Sony has the worst software interface in the business. Compared to the Wii, Sony's online friend management and gameplay are an utter mystery, requiring endless navigation of its Byzantine menu structure. Sure, buried inside the PS3 are plenty of amazing ''potential technology'' features -- like the ability to install Linux, or its wireless connectivity with the PSP -- but who cares? No one needs these features to play games. Even worse, developers can't seem to make games for the PS3, while the 360's development toolkit is a relative stroll in the park.
3. Cost-cutting. The PS3 still costs more to make than it does on store shelves, which has led to $841 million operating loss for Sony's games division as of the end of October 2007. Until it pulls a profit, it's an albatross for all of Sony. Microsoft feels like it's finally gaining ground on Sony, with a library of titles that are superior, and an online interface that is miles better -- not to mention a larger installed base of sales in the U.S -- but they blew a billion dollars to extend the faulty system's warranty to three years. Splitting the cost on a next-gen system might be a wise idea.
4. Big in Japan (kinda). Nintendo dominates in Asia, but at least the PS3 sold nearly two million systems... as opposed to the 360, which has yet to break a million units in Asia after three years on the market. Sony can help Microsoft understand that whole ''Asia'' thing a lot better. The world gaming market is growing to China, Korea, India -- places where Sony still has clout.
5. And now, for the biggest reason of all: maybe, with two brains put together, they can help each other learn what ''fun'' means . ''FUll article

2 words: KICK ASS.
Microsoft makes like half a billion dollars off its Xbox program. They make $16 billion off their software. They don't give a rat's ass about console gaming. That's why Bill Gates has only showed up to E3 ONCE.
maybe then Microsoft can build some decent hardware
This is so far in the land of hypothetical. Sony would cost a lot more than yahoo. People need to remeber that sony corp is a massive conglomerate with subsidiaries in banking, film, music, electronics...etc. Gaming is just one part of their business. I think MS would have a nightmare just managing all the overhead and added costs associated with taking over such a huge company.

why nintendo should buy the xbox divisio ...
1. the 3rd party problem would be solved for the wii2/ 1st party would be better for the 7202. the hardware issues woulden't be as widespead with nintendos track record3. grafics would be up to par next gen and innovation would remain4. less minigame compalations on wii2 and more games under M for 7205. Halo comalation with wiimote controls = winwhy nintendo should buy the xbox divisio ...
actually Microsoft should buy Nintendo so MS provides all the money for teh technology (graphics and stuff) and Nintendo focuses on innovation....and the best system ever will be madewhy nintendo should buy the xbox divisio ...
Just buy a Wii and 360. And fix your sig lol
This is just like saying, hey an elephant and a gorilla hybrid would be cool.. well no duh, but its not gonna happen.
why microsoft? sony and nintendo is a better pair

Nintendo and Sony should get together like they did in 1990. If Nintendo doesn't stab Sony in the back afterwards, they could dominate the console market. But that's not gonna happen.
I think MS should buy Nokia so they can make a N-Gage360. Could you imagine? Portable and undependable.

it gets pretty annoying hearng that all the time, anyone agree. No system has reached its zenith so stop ...
agreed...no system, not even the NES has ever seen its peak yet, and if we do, it sure as hell woun't be in the 2nd/3rd year of a consoles lifeNo system has reached its zenith so stop ...
Well maybe not consoles but we've probably already seen the highest rated game this generation.
The ps3 reached its peak. Sony isn't even developing engines or tools for the thing anymore because of teh cell. They want Toshiba to develop games for them and do all of the cell research , and if anyone knows anything about Toshiba .... they will realise they have little experience in the gaming industry.
Well all the last gen systems have reached there peaks long ago, but the next gen systems, are just starting.
You could probably argue that Wii games aren't going to get much better looking than SMG/SSBB, at least not from a technical standpoint.

Bungie's next game 'totally different' f ...
In its latest podcast, Halo developer Bungie has revealed that its next game will be ''something totally different'' from what the developer's fans know the studio for.Speaking on the podcast with content manager Frank O'Connor, lead designer Christian Allen and writer Luke Smith, Brian Jarrard, director of franchise and community affairs revealed that from what he's seen of the new, super-secret game, it's ''pretty cool''.Speculation has been rife on what Bungie, acclaimed developer of the blockbuster Halo series, will do next, now that Halo 3 has been out for a number of months and the studio has gained independence from ex-parent company Microsoft.Unfortunately, Jarrard remained tight-lipped, saying the game was ''far far too early'' to talk about. He did, however, say that ''eventually... we'll have a lot of cool things to start talking about.''He said: ''It's tough for us to really get into the stuff our listeners would love to hear about which is what we're currently working on.''We can say... is sort of Bungie's next game that isn't Halo 3 expansion, DLC type stuff, this would be something totally different from Bungie.''(It's)far far too early in its state to even say more than that at this point, but eventually I'm sure we'll have a lot of cool things to start talking about.''I can just say that some of the stuff that I've seen is pretty cool.''What do you think Bungie's next game will be? Chun Li design is awful imo. I like the rest though.

Question...how different will Wii spore ...
Does anyone know? Are they being made to be identical? How about graphics between the 2 versions? Anyone have any info on a release window?Any info would be pimpin' fresh awsome.Question...how different will Wii spore ...
no they are not identicle...will Wright has said every version is designed differently, the same thing happened with the Sims. And it makes sence, since on the PC, an internet connection is required, and the Wii's online setup isnt exacly that great, and I would be willing to bet that the majority of people dont even have their Wii hooked up online simply because their is little real reason too.

If Kevin V reviews it, it is impossible to know. Does anyone else even review big name console games anymore? It seems to me like most of the other reviewers have either left, or have been laid off.His recent stuff is all over the place. He gave ME an 85, (AAA on GR, IGN, 1up, etc.,) games like NMH and AC AAA's (both AA's on GR and below AA on IGN, 1up, etc.) So, using the scores the game already has to base what GS's score will be is impossible. The better question is, why do people even care about GS's scores anymore? Nothing against GS or anything, but the glory days of this site's reviews are long, long gone. The forum's are still cool and everything, but the days of this site being a reviewing lighthouse among the big name sites are long gone. Long gone.

Gerstmann was good though (don't get me wrong, Kasavin was awesome too,) he was also one of the founding fathers of this site so him being in charge of the review dpt. was hardly shocking. All of my favorite reviewers (the ones with opinions that seemed to be closest to my own) are no longer with GS, so honestly I don't care what any game gets on this site anymore. Nothing against Kevin V, but his opinion is just way off base from my own based on what I've seen of his work. I rented ME and ended up buying it because it was so awesome. When playing the game I realized that much of the game's largest critiques in the review were completely made up (not being able to aim the Mako, there being lots of Thresher Maws.)I bought AC based on this site's review (I used to do that all the time based on this site's reviews and rarely did it fail me) and ugh, that's something I'd rather forget. What a dull game. Who cares about GS's reviews anymore? CNET has completely destroyed this site's relevance.
Gerstmann was good though, he was also one of the founding fathers of this site so him being in charge of the review dpt. was hardly shocking. All of my favorite reviewers (the ones with opinions closest to my own) are no longer with GS, so honestly I don't care what any game gets on this site anymore. Nothing against Kevin V, but his opinion is just way off base from my own. I rented ME and ended up buying it because it was so awesome.I bought AC based on this site's review (I used to do that all the time based on this site's reviews and rarely did it fail me) and ugh, that's something I'd rather forget. Jeff wasnt the one to be in charge, he was best as the goofy guy, not the boss.

Lost Odyssey has a ring system and a wall defense system that are both unique. Read the ign review for a description. Im not trying to bash FPS, I love them as much as anybody else. Im just bashing the bias that north american gamers have towards JRPGs.

PS2 vs PSP, which is more powerful?
I am talking about the PSP Slime and PS2 Slime. Which is has or will have better graphics and performance for games?PS2 vs PSP, which is more powerful?
I am talking about the PSP Slime and PS2 Slime. in terms of specs the psp is more powerfull...only reason they cant use the psp to full power is the battery would be killed fast
in terms of specs the psp is more powerfull...only reason they cant use the psp to full power is the battery would be killed fast
What? PSP is on par with the Dreamcast- which is a bit less powerful than PS2

That makes zero sense. The PS2 is CLEARLY the more powerful of the two.
Actually Stereointegrity is right. The PSP processor was underclocked to around 233mhz for most of its life. It technically has an approx 333mhz processor, basically the ''emotion engine'' in smaller form. They both share the same amount of system and video ram. Tech specs of the PSP. The reason why Sony chose to underclock the PSP rather than choose inferior components is because the PSP is basically a PS2 in portable form, it's the same technology and has the same economies of scale. It's cheaper to mass produce in-house Sony technology which already shares massive economies of scale. The PSP slim also possesses more system RAM 64MB compared to the 32MB on the PS2, but because it's a new model it can never be fully utilisedThe reason why games tend to look worse on the PSP than their PS2 counterparts is because of battery life. The PSP even when the processor was capped at 233mhz had poor battery life, now imagine if they had left the developers to use all the systems power, you'd be looking at some games with a sub-1hour battery life.
mmm i got me a slime ps2, it has slime like a snail! yay! sony makes slimey products! lol, u mean slim.

New trailer for Viking: Battle for Asgar ...
Creative Assembly (the Total War series) has a promising looking game here that is looking to improve upon Spartan: Total Warrior from last gen. It is definitely on my radar of games to keep an eye on, and looking better every time I see it. Check it out:http://www.gamespot.com/video/942959/6185595/viking-battle-for-asgard-official-trailer-1 New trailer for Viking: Battle for Asgar ...
This looks like a hack and slash game. I love those. You will also be able to go to different towns and amass your own army, get equipment, ect. Not to mention that there is going to be strategy elements involved in the massive confrontations that will have you undertaking certain objectives in order to advance, such as calling in dragon air strikes on certain targets, defeating certain enimies or groups of enemies, boss fights, ect. From what I have read, it is supposed to be like a free roaming, strategic God of War, with Braveheart style battles. I am looking forward to it, myself.
Looks decent

Is Gamespot ever going to review TUROK!?
topicIs Gamespot ever going to review TUROK!?
Waiting to make sure the check from Touchstone doesn't bounce I guess. Is Gamespot ever going to review TUROK!?
probably...i just watched GT trailer and it recieved good score and looks like a solid game....but then i also played the demo and it was mediocre so idk what to think of this game...full game might be awesome
The reviewers are too busy killing little, friendly dinosaurs.
It takes a good week for the devs and publishers to read the first draft of the reviews, demande changes and then give it back.
Then another week for GS to make those changes.
The standard 2 week GS delay for reviews.
They're just waiting for the check to clear. ;)

Do you mean... Turdrok?!!My efforts to spread that nickname across the internet have not yet been as fruitful as I had hoped. Must keep trying.
They are probably nigotiating the score with the TouchStone as we speak
I think Turdrok is going to score 7.5.
I thought the raptors in the demo were pretty cool. But then the supersolders were mediocre.
Just be patient. Their reviews are always a few days late or more. Their Uncharted review came like a week and a half after IGNs.
When they do I bet they give it either a 7.5 or an 8.0, just like everyone else.
I don't think they have enough reviewers now after Ryan Davis left.

Jaffe PWNS Miyamoto - Quote of the Year
Apparently when Miyamoto first went to Retro Studios, they were making a car combat game, he said, ''Why would you make that? Why would you put a gun on a car?'' And they stopped development on the game. So maybe you should answer that question. Why would you put a gun on a car?
Jaffe: You know, honestly, I've been too busy recently trying to figure out why the **** go-karts shoot banana peels.http://flixn.com/play/loxnra/ http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/01/interview-david.htmlJaffe PWNS Miyamoto - Quote of the Year
In other current events, I hear Reagan is running for president!
I kid, I kid. But srsly, Jaffe's already posted a video blog directed at all the nintendo fanboys that tried to split hairs and take shots at him for that statement.Jaffe PWNS Miyamoto - Quote of the Year
Banana peels >>> Guns There ;)
I love Shiggy, but that was a good dose of ownage. Jaffe is very funny. In real life I'd much rather have a banana launched at me form a car than bullets :(.
In other current events, I hear Reagan is running for president!
Except this quote is more interesting.
he's funny, but Miyamoto has my respect.
just because he owns an wii and an xbox 360 doesn't mean he's not a fanboy.
Jaffe is a pompous peice of ****, if he had 1/100 of the talent Miyamoto has in his pinky, maybe then he should open his mouth. Till then he should shut the **** up.
I like his games but Jaffe is a horrible annoying man.
It was a joke, he wasnt being serious.
LOL, haha, thats hilarious.

OMG, someone dared to question miyamoto???? NOOOOO!!!!

He said on his blog that he would never compare himself to Miyamoto or put himself on the same pedestal as Miyamoto. Just because he swears alot dosn't make him an @$$hole.
Is answer was funny but he should have added 'So you could enter the Twisted Metal Competition and claim a prize of your choosing' :P

lol didn't see that one coming.

people who don't find this amusing are the blindest nintendo fans. Everyone respects miyamoto but hat is just funny.

The 360 is doing way better than the xbox. When the xbox came out it struggled very much in sales and the ps2 kept outselling them by 5-6 mil each year. Amd it only sold abiut 26 mil after 4yrs. BUT.......the xbox never turned a profit for MS, even with the 50 bucks live offer, thats why MS pulled the plug from the 360 and this gen the 360 is making a profit within is 2nd year. So logically the 360 should stay for about 5-6yrs while MS hashas also confirmed the 360 will stay for 5+ years.

good for it, i wish theyd fix the hardware though, as it stands right now next gen people will look back and say ''how many of those sales were because of replacement 360s?''

Why do people still say 120million PS2 u ...
I have seen it a lot on this forum people saying that the PS2 has 120 million users. I dont understand this. I thought the PS2 had 120 million units sold not users. A lot of people had PS2 break so they bought new ones. More people would have grown out of gaming or stopped using the PS2. Some more people would have bought a new version of the PS2 when it became so cheap just get get the silver version or the slim version. When you take all that into account then it no where near 120 million users.Dont get me wrong the PS2 did have and to some degee still does have a massive user base. What do you think. Why do people still say 120million PS2 u ...
because cows are desperate for amy type good newsWhy do people still say 120million PS2 u ...
Because that reasoning is used for all consoles. Otherwise the numbers would be lower for all systems.
Because that reasoning is used for all consoles. Otherwise the numbers would be lower for all systems.
Yes but to a lesser extent with new systems.Much better to look at current console sales and game sales as an indicator as to who and what is dominating the market.
I doubt that many people rebought PS2's. Additionally, if repairs are counted as sales, where does the 360 stand?
I doubt that many people rebought PS2's. Additionally, if repairs are counted as sales, where does the 360 stand?
That is so very true!!!!
Counting units sold is the best way to do it. We don't know how many of those 120 million are unique buyers, but we also do not know how many of those 120 million were bought by one person, then sold at a later time to another user (thus, not being counted in the total). It is a flawed number, but we don't have much choice. It still blows away its competition from last generation, so what does it matter?
I doubt that many people rebought PS2's. Additionally, if repairs are counted as sales, where does the 360 stand?
I'm sure quite a few people haev rebought PS2s by now, not like many of things are still in warranty but as part of 120 million I agree it wouldn't be significant. Its the number of people no longer using there PS2s and even more importantly buying games for it which is the factor.
You could use the same logic when counting any console's sales, though I have to admit, I know 5 people at the top of my head that are on at least their 4th PS2...
It's hard to say. Take the RRoD, for instance.

Because that reasoning is used for all consoles. True, and also the number of sku's and faulty hardware will also push numbers in different directions.
The point that I was making is that all we can go on is shipped numbers. Otherwise we're making uneducated guesses.
Does anyone honestly believe Sony had 60 million units RESOLD to every customer to make 120? Give me a break.

If that was a rule then I could only imagine the flamefests going on between the Xbox 360 and it's once at 33.3% defective rate. :?

I meant uneducated guess when trying to determine ''true'' hardware sales based upon factors such as sku's, faulty hardware, and people just buying new systems. I didn't fully explain myself. It's no longer a number crunch but a guesstimate. Hardware trackers such as NPD can be used as educated guesses (Darn good guesses too) but not as fact.
But that said nothing is perfect and as you said the market is very complex. Just look at analysts and how often they are wrong. *shrug*

the xbox 360 has a 33% failure rate?
this rumour is used time and time again, and it is used intended to be fact to inform people.....to detere peoplenow didnt this come to be when some game shop employees saidthe failure rates in our shop could be as high as 33% , that somehow got on the net and became an unquestionable factheres some more nonsical rubbish for you to spread around the net, remember its on the net so its THE TRUTH, so you cant question it ! AND it has been said by games shop workers and they know all and see all!games shop workers said SSBB will be the worst game this year
games shop workers said the next halo will be on the playstation 3
games shop workers said gran tourismo is now a 360 exclusivegames shop workers said that il start eating healty and go to the gym 3 times a week ( like i told my girlfriend :D )games shop workers said that halo 3 sales could be as low a 15 copies for that is how many they have seen sold.games shop workers said there will be a console that will play ps3 , 360 and wii games all in one!!now go spread your lies!!!!!the xbox 360 has a 33% failure rate?

It's much higher. I have 2 friends who had to send theirs in within 5 months of buying it. Then got replacements, which adds +2 to the ''sales'' charts for M$. PS3 has something of a 0.3% fail rate. And I believe that as my friend has had his PS2 since 2001 and it still works like a charm and I trust Sony puts the same quality build in all their consoles. The 360 is a good console, but because of it's horrible fault rate and no potential for next-gen gaming in the coming years, it will be dominated by the PS3 until the next XBOX releases and then we will see.
Well, for me it's been 50% so far. ;)

i say 8.0, it was a fun demo when i played it, lomg load times, but man did it remind of ff7, but this had more. but with todays standards of graphics and extras features a 8.0.
